Start by unplugging the cell phone charging cable from the 5V out port. Then pick up the home phone and listen.
You hear that the phone is not connected
- Red light is off: Cell2Jack is not paired. Go to pair your cell phone.
- Red light is solid on: do a factory reset, then pair again.
- You hear pairing for a few minutes and it never connects: see my phone cannot find Cell2Jack.
No dial tone only when the charging cable is plugged in
Press 60# on your home phone keypad. That handles a charging cable that interferes.
After a call ends, the home phone can take 30 seconds to a couple of minutes to get its dial tone back. To skip the wait, press the Flash button on the phone to get the dial tone right away.
