Pairing links your cell phone to Cell2Jack over Bluetooth. You do it once. Here is the whole thing.

  1. Pick up your home phone. You should hear that the phone is not connected, and the red light should start flashing while you hear the word pairing.
  2. If your Cell2Jack was already paired to another phone, press #*# on the home phone keypad to start pairing again.
  3. On your cell phone, turn on Bluetooth and search for new devices. It can take a few minutes for Cell2Jack to show up. If it does not appear, hang up and start again.
  4. When you see Cell2Jack in the list, select it to connect. It can take a few tries. If it fails, try again.
  5. If your phone asks for a passkey, enter 0000, four zeros. Many phones never ask, and that is fine.
  6. When it connects, the red light stops flashing and stays on. Pick up the home phone. A dial tone means you are done.
