Your cell phone can only find Cell2Jack while it is in pairing mode. You put it in pairing mode from the home phone keypad.

  1. Pick up your home phone. You should hear that the phone is not connected.
  2. Press #*# on the home phone keypad. You should hear the word pairing and the red light should start flashing.
  3. On your cell phone, turn on Bluetooth and search for new devices. It can take a few minutes. If Cell2Jack does not appear, hang up and repeat from step 1.
  4. When Cell2Jack shows up, select it to connect. It can take a few tries.
  5. If asked for a passkey, enter 0000, four zeros. Many phones never ask.
  6. When it connects, the red light stops flashing and stays on, and you get a dial tone.
