When something that was working stops, the lights tell you where to look. Blue is power. Red is the Bluetooth link to your cell phone.

  1. Look at the blue light. If it is off, check the power adapter and the USB cable.
  2. Pick up the home phone. The blue light should change from light blue to dark blue. If it does not, check the phone cable between Cell2Jack and your home phone, and push it all the way in.
  3. Look at the red light. If it is off, your cell phone is not connected over Bluetooth. It can take a few minutes to reconnect if the phone was away or the power was cycled.
  4. Make sure your cell phone Bluetooth is on and not asleep. iPhone and Android leave Bluetooth on by default, but check.
  5. If your cell phone is connected to other Bluetooth things like earphones or a speaker, reboot the cell phone and pick Cell2Jack again in Bluetooth settings. You only do this once.

For security, Cell2Jack will not pair itself to a different phone on its own. To use another phone, press #*# on the home phone and pair again. See pair to a different cell phone.
