Turn on Caller ID

Press 51# on your home phone to show who is calling. It may add a short delay to the ring.

Cell2Jack can show Caller ID on a home phone that has a display. Turn it on with a keypad code.

51#: Turn Caller ID on. Press it on the home phone while off the hook.
50#: Turn Caller ID off.
28#: Raise the volume, which some phones need before Caller ID will work.

Good to know

Caller ID does not work on every phone model, and it can add a ring or two of delay.
Your home phone shows the name or number that comes from the mobile network. On Android, it will not show a name that is only saved in your cell phone contacts.
