Anything you can control by voice with Siri or Google Assistant, you can control from your home phone through Cell2Jack. That includes smart home devices like Nest, WeMo, and Philips Hue.
- First, learn how to use Siri or Google Assistant from your home phone.
- Set up each smart device in its own app on your cell phone the normal way, and confirm the assistant can control it.
- Now press the star key on your home phone, wait for the tone, and give the same command you would give your cell phone.
The exact setup is different for iPhone and for Android 6.0 or newer. Follow your assistant app instructions on the cell phone, then use the star key from the home phone.
